Pond Equipment to keep pond clean

I have a pond that is approximately 10,000 sq. ft. and only 6 feet deep in Littleton, NH. I have an aeration unit and keep trout in the pond now. I am concerned about the water temperature and water cleanliness and I would like to keep the temperature as consistent as possible as well as clean as I can. What would you suggest for equipment to accomplish this. I would like a pond skimmer, filtration system and chiller capable of doing the job. Perhaps you could tell me what size components and other equipment I would need to accomplish this.

Large Underwater Lights

I am interested in buying:Large Underwater Lights, 250W Light, 20′ cord. Do you have any pictures that you could email me with the lights on? Our pond installer informs us that the colored lights are not strong enough yet and the white ones he has looks nicer. I hate to spend that kind of money without being able to see the product at night in the water. THank you in advance for your help.

Check Valves to prevent backflow

I’m reworking the waste lines in my house and want to install a check valve to prevent backflow. The problem is the old sewage lines along the road and they have clogged twice due to branches and silt build up. The neighbor east of us got the backup in his basement the first time and the man hole west of us got it the second time. I looked at the model VC6 & OCV4. Will one of these valves work to prevent a backflow for this application? Thank you for your time.

Solar Pond Aeration System

I am looking for information on a solar pond aeration system. My pond is about an acer in size. Can you help me?

Waterfall Pump for my Pond

I am considering the Sequence 7200PRM23 for use in my pond [+/- 20000 gal. pond] I am only able to get 110 out to the pump so the larger 220V pumps aren’t an option. There is only about 8′ of head and I am planning to divert only about 3500-4000 gph to the waterfall the balance will have only about 3′ of head.

1] does this sound like the right pump or can you recommend a better one for this application?

2] can you give me a price on the pump a fiberglass/rock cover and shipping to Hawaii?

Have I Chosen the Right Equipment for My Pond Design?

I have a new, 2000 gal koi pond under construction using the S15012 skimmer box and 8.5″ faceplate; I’m installing a 2″ bottom drain to be piped into the bottom of the skimmer box; I have a high efficiency Sequence 1000 pump rated at 2700 gpm at 12′ of head which will mount beside the skimmer box and pump to a remote filter approx 20′ away via 1.5″ flexible PVC lines; the BF-11 bead filter was recommended by one of your technicians; 3 questions: is this the recommended filter for this application? do you see anything wrong with this design? are there any recommendations you would make to improve the system?
